Utility software for MARCS
- readmarcs.f
is a FORTRAN subroutine to read a model file and store it into arrays.
- readopa.f
is a FORTRAN subroutine to read a continuous-opacity file and store it into arrays.
- interpol_marcs.tar.gz
is a FORTRAN-based routine written by Thomas Masseron, presently at Ohio State
University, to interpolate MARCS model structures. The "tar ball" contains a
directory with a pdf manual, the fortran code, a control script, and some test data.
The control script may be asked to call sm (SuperMongo) to produce a diagnostic
postscript plot.
- Not available FORTRAN/IDL programme to interpolate fluxes between a number of files.
Other useful software:
- Stuffit Expander:
Unpacks tar and gzip files, also for Windows/PC and Mac users.
- Emacs:
Text editor for all platforms.
